The programme shall help identify occupations and working conditions that pose a health risk, and provide prevention recommendations. The programme relies on data from multiple representative cohorts of economically active individuals from three principal social welfare schemes. The DTS formed cohorts of workers affiliated with the the RSI (Social Security Scheme for Independent Workers) (see COSET-RSI sheet) and the MSA (Social Security Scheme for Agricultural Workers). The objectives of the COSET-RSI cohort are similar to the COSET programme that applies to workers registered with the Social Security Scheme for Independent Workers.
