Biological events can be genome alterations, mutations, chromosomal rearrangements, gene and miRNA expressions, methylation patterns, exon variations, etc.. As such, CIT is developing an integrated view of how cancer cells develop and function. This work forms the basis of personalised medicine that is adapted to the genomic characteristics of each tumour.
