Its primary objective is to monitor the development of new family types through a retrospective questionnaire and biographical rebuilding the demographic history for generations. Each edition of this survey devotes a battery of questions to the study of a particular topic (female activity in 1982, child care in 1990, transmission of languages \u200b\u200band dialects in 1999). The questionnaires were hand delivered by enumerators along with the usual documents (Census Form, sheet housing, individual forms).
