En cons\u00e9quence, l'objectif principal de la pr\u00e9sente \u00e9tude \u00e9tait de d\u00e9terminer l'effet imm\u00e9diat de deux techniques de mobilisation neurodynamique (flossing vs tension) sur le nerf sciatique et les tissus des ischio-jambiers \u00e0 l'aide de l'\u00e9lastographie par ondes de cisaillement (SWE, une forme d'\u00e9chographie).","abstract":"Les techniques de mobilisation neurodynamique sont fr\u00e9quemment utilis\u00e9es en r\u00e9\u00e9ducation pour am\u00e9liorer la mobilit\u00e9 et la fonction des nerfs p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques, en particulier dans la prise en charge des douleurs neuropathiques telles que le syndrome du canal carpien, les radiculopathies ou la sciatique. On distingue deux approches principales. La mise en tension du nerf consiste \u00e0 maintenir le nerf \u00e9tir\u00e9 \u00e0 l'extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 de l'amplitude articulaire avec une excursion relativement limit\u00e9e. Elle s'apparente \u00e0 un \u00e9tirement statique, mais avec des tensions distales (cheville) et proximales (cervicales). Le \u00ab nerve flossing \u00bb (\u00e9galement appel\u00e9 \u00ab gliding \u00bb ou \u00ab sliders \u00bb) consiste \u00e0 alterner des mouvements articulaires proximaux et distaux afin de favoriser un glissement neural plus important tout en \u00e9vitant une contrainte de traction excessive. Cependant, des r\u00e9sultats contradictoires concernant les techniques neurodynamiques ont mis en \u00e9vidence l'absence actuelle de consensus quant aux effets aigus des diff\u00e9rentes techniques neurodynamiques possibles sur les nerfs sciatiques, en particulier dans les tissus sains. De plus, si les techniques neurodynamiques pr\u00e9sentent un int\u00e9r\u00eat pour les patients, il semble qu'elles puissent \u00e9galement \u00eatre appliqu\u00e9es chez des individus en bonne sant\u00e9 et plus particuli\u00e8rement chez les athl\u00e8tes. R\u00e9alis\u00e9es chez des patients, des personnes en bonne sant\u00e9 ou des athl\u00e8tes, aucune \u00e9tude n\u2019a compar\u00e9 les techniques de tension et de flossing. De plus, comme ces techniques impliquent une mobilisation nerveuse, l\u2019intensit\u00e9 devrait avoir un effet principal sur leur efficacit\u00e9. En cons\u00e9quence, l'objectif principal de la pr\u00e9sente \u00e9tude \u00e9tait de d\u00e9terminer l'effet imm\u00e9diat de deux techniques de mobilisation neurodynamique (flossing vs tension) sur le nerf sciatique et les tissus des ischio-jambiers \u00e0 l'aide de l'\u00e9lastographie par ondes de cisaillement (SWE).
