    ['Coding for required and recommended variables is carried out by following the strict rules set down by FRANCIM network and ENCR. Topography and morphology are coded according to the International Classification of Diseases for Oncology, third edition (ICD-O-3). The stage at diagnosis (TNM) is coded according to the classification of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) concerning the years studied.']
